Tissue Paper City

1st grade really enjoyed creating a unique and creative city using tissue paper and glue.  I gave each table a pile of colorful tissue paper shapes and glue water to build their city.  We talked about which city we lived near and how the buildings looked in Atlanta.  After the kids built their city they painted the background with dot paint.  I loved how these turned out, I think they are amazing!

  1. Wow! This is such a wonderful art project for younger kids. I love how you also turned it into a lesson plan as well. I love how different each kid’s city is. This is such an awesome idea.
